Alexander did an excellent job tonight! Our air conditioning stopped working in the late afternoon and we noticed slightly after 5:00 PM. We called Mason air conditioning and they promised to send someone out this evening. Alexander arrived earlier than expected. He diagnosed the situation. He solved the main problem. He identified another potential problem. And because of his good work, our air conditioning was back up and running. He also identified additional work that can be done to prevent future issues and promise to come take care of that. We could not be more pleased.

He claimed to have over 20 years experience and AC work but gave me a wrong diagnostic on my AC unit saying that it had a leak and I needed Freon and a leak detection oil which would have cost me over $700 !!! When in fact, it was never that !! he never checked the Duck work in the garage, which had came loose and needed to be replaced so that I wouldn’t be sucking in hot air from the garage once that was fixed. My house is ice cold. I always believe that if you are in business and can’t figure something out at least be honest.

No cooling, indoor fan and outdoor fan are running, but the compressor is not. Did a complete evaluation of AC system. Noticed several duct runs in attic leaking air and biological growth buildup around duct connections in air handler. Found blown dual run capacitor outside, which was tied into a second capacitor for the fan as well as hard start kit, which was not working properly. Gave client solutions for issues with system, however, system is 7 years old and recommended replacing ductwork as well as AC system due to age and condition. Client just wanted to do the immediate repair for now. Eliminated the secondary run capacitor and installed a dual run capacitor to take care of the compressor and condenser fan. Replaced hard start assist. Cycled and tested system, all operations OK at this time. Client signed up for monthly membership. Office needs to contact client to schedule first maintenance.

Replacing 3 ton heat pump system with all due ductwork in attic. Replacing supply and return Plenums, need to cut sheet rock to access some of the duct runs, sheet rock repairs are included in estimate. Scheduled to start install on Wednesday, December 10. Found heavy amount of biological growth buildup on evaporator coil, insulation from the panel on the air handler got sucked into blower, And the compressor had high startup amps. Gave client solutions for issues with system. Client chose to go with the top option. Scheduled to come out December 8 to pull and clean the evaporator coil, install UV light to kill any biological growth buildup that may build in the future And install hard start kit to lower compressor. Start up amps. Signed up for an annual membership. Client got approved through green sky for financing. Found Remi Halo purifier not working. Getting 24 V to purifier. Need to replace Remi halo under warranty. Ordered new purifier, need to schedule a replacement and to do the first maintenance on the system
Gave client estimate to remove and reinstall 12 condensers and put one unit up on condenser stand. Unit number 412 and 468 are older units and recommend replacing instead of moving.

Client states that system was freezing up, system was thawed out upon arrival. Pulled out air filter and found evaporator coil completely plugged and blocked. There was a plastic bag sucked into evaporator coil not letting any airflow pass through. Blower wheel is very dirty as well. Condenser coil is also dirty and needs to be deep cleaned. Gave client solutions for issues with system, however, system is 11 years old and recommend replacing due to age and cost of repair. Client will discuss all options with homeowner and will let us know which solution they would like to go with.
